Originally a solo effort by Gregory Ferreira, the band found each other in the busy Brooklyn music scene and through the release of their critically acclaimed debut album, Graffiti of the Young Man’s Mind, they began to hone their craft. Calling on Elvis Costello, Band of Horses, David Bowie, The Band, and Van Morrison for inspiration, The Bushwick Hotel add exotic touches from each band member’s diverse backgrounds throughout the record. This band of outsiders includes Gregory Ferreira (Lead Vocals, Guitar, Piano, Organ, Percussion), Rudy Temiz (Guitar & Slide Guitar), Matt La Von (Sax, Clarinet, Flute, Background Vocals), Ian Carroll (Drums), Tyler Aigotti (Bass) along with rotating horn section to fill out the stage during live performances.
